Annabelle Gurwitch

Annabelle Gurwitch (born April 14, 1970) is an American comedian, writer and host of a TV show. Her most notable job was that of hostess on Dinner and a Movie. She also has a strong interest in environmental causes and humanism. Annabelle Gurwitch is a critically acclaimed actress and New York Times Bestselling Author of the memoir When You're There, They Are I see you made an Effort You Say Tomato I say Shut Up and Get Fired! Showtime Comedy Special. Gurwitch was the long time host of TBS's Dinner & a Movie and TV viewers will remember her unforgettable appearances on programs including Better Things Boston Legal Seinfeld Dexter Murphy Brown and as hosting the sustainability series WA$TED on The Planet Green Network. Her appearances are regularly on PBS Newhour Real Time with Bill Maher and on NPR and also writes Op-eds in the New York Times WSJ The Hollywood Reporter as well as satire for The New Yorker and McSweeeneys. The New York Times has been elated by her stage actor, and has included it on its annual list of reviewers' top Ten Actors. Annabelle provides a humorous and insightful perspective on growing older in today's youth-oriented culture.
