Erica Cerra, born October 31st 1979 in Vancouver, British Columbia, is a Canadian actress best recognized for her role as Deputy Jo Lupo in the Syfy Show Eureka. Cerra is of Italian descent as well as a native of Vancouver, British Columbia. Cerra had a fascination with acting since she was eight years old and appeared in a variety of commercials when she began her journey. The actress took a brief break from acting, but returned to acting in 2001 at age 22. Vancouver Lifestyles Magazine named her among the top Vancouver's up-and coming actresses in 2005. Cerra had starred as the character Deputy Jo Lupo in Eureka a Syfy series that ran between 2006 until 2012. She also appeared in the 2006 music video for"Save the Last Dance for Me," a Michael Buble hit song Save the Last Dance for Me. Her credits include roles as a lead on several critically and popularly recognized television shows such as Battlestar Galactica. Also, she has appeared in big films like Man About Town featuring Ben Affleck as Rebecca Romijn or Blade:Trinity which included Wesley Snipes. Cerras appearance and body were employed as models for the character of Ashley Williams in the Mass Effect series of video games. I am the middle child which means I had to steal clothes from my two sisters' closets Khondabi said in her blog that she got married to her high school sweetheart Joey Scribner Howard who works as a mechanical engineer within the power utility industry. Khondabi said that she and Joey were best friends at Greenwood Christian School for years prior to their relationship beginning in their senior year in high school. Howard completed his studies at Dutch Fork High School in Irmo, but Khondabi and Howard kept in touch. The two began dating. Khondabi was a 2007 graduate of Emerald High School and a student at the University of South Carolina with the degree of broadcast journalist. She studied sports management and entertainment. Joey is also an USC student. Liam The dog, however, is the only pet they have. Khondabi said she as well as Joey are both foodies. One of her favorite foods from home is onion rings from The Dixie Drive-In. Khondabi said: I'm someone who is always curious. As an elementary student, I conducted educational interviews which were broadcasted on the news channel of our school and I was also in charge of giving out the school's daily headlines. When I was at (then) Oakland Elementary our newscast was titled WOAK. Khondabi says that following college her first job as a news reporter on the television channel was WAGT Augusta Georgia. Khondabi told her that she worked as a television reporter for about six years. After Augusta I was the morning anchor at WOWK in Charleston West Virginia at WOWK before moving to Columbus Ohio as an anchor for traffic and a morning news host on Columbus Ohio's regional ABC and FOX affiliates.
